1967 Buick GS Convertable sold at Mecum Auction

The red beauty that made the buyer’s buddies green

This true GS 400 convertible is one of just 2,140 built, and it features the factory color combination of code-R Apple Red with a red interior, furthering its rarity. With just one repaint on its original rust-free sheet metal, this car boasts a matching-numbers 400/340 HP engine and just 56,000 actual miles on its odometer. Power windows, a power seat and power top in addition to AM/FM radio and air conditioning make this well-optioned car a comfortable cruiser, and excellent documentation surely lent to the confidence of its new owner with the original Protect-O-Plate, owner’s manuals, known ownership history and maintenance records all included in its sale.
